Basketball Winter 2027 - Winter 2027

Hello Parents, it is that time of year again for another great season of AAYSA basketball!

GRADES 2nd-6th | Boys and Girls

AAYSA 2026-2027 basketball teams will play in the North interlock Basketball League with Sanger and surrounding towns.

Below is some important information you need to know:

• Registration will open August 13th and will close October13th.
• Practices will begin the week of December 1st.
• Practices will be held at Owens middle school, McNabb middle school, possibly Brockett and Fuller.
• Games will begin January 9th with an end of season tournament planned at the end of February.
• Parents must sign up for to volunteer for game days or pay the opt out volunteer fee to receive a uniform. 
• Competitive and Developmental divisions will apply to 5th and 6th grade boys and girls teams again this season.
• To ensure a fair and equal (as possible) game play, ALL PLAYERS registered for 5th and 6th grade boys and girls, are required attend a skills evaluation before teams are formed. Dates to be announced soon.
• This season no jersey number may contain any single digit larger than 5 (ex. allowable numbers: 00-5, 10-15, 20-25....)

PLEASE NOTE: Coach requests for returning players will be honored on a first come, first serve basis.

Little Dribblers Winter 2027 - Winter 2026

AAYSA Basketball Registration for Pre-K through 1st grade is OPEN!

Hello Parents!

We’re thrilled to announce a special opportunity for our youngest athletes AAYSA’s 2026–2027 Pre-K thru 1st grade Co-Ed Little Dribblers Basketball Division! This is the perfect way to introduce your child to the game in a fun, supportive, and skill-building environment. the league consists of Aubrey, Tioga and Pilot Point. Games will be held in Pilot Point, Tioga or Aubrey on Fridays and Saturdays. 

Here’s what you need to know:

• Registration is open and closes October 15th
• Practices begin the week of December 1st
• Friday evening and Saturday morning games start January 8th and run through February. 
• The league consists of Tioga, Pilot Point and Aubrey. Games will be played in one of these cities. 

This division is all about fun, fundamentals, and encouragement. No prior experience needed just bring your energy and excitement!

Golf Fall 2026 - Fall 2026

AAYSA Golf is back and partnering with Christie's Golf Ranch & Par T Golf Simulator for 6 weeks of Golf lessons!  

Program Goals 

Skill Development: Teach fundamental golf skills, rules, and sportsmanship from beginner to advanced levels. 

Confidence & Character: Build discipline, focus, and integrity both on and off the course. 

Competitive Preparation: Prepare athletes for high school golf program by developing technique, course management, and mental toughness. 

Access & Opportunity: Provide local youth with opportunities to learn and compete in a sport that may otherwise be out of reach. 

Community Growth: Foster a love for the game while strengthening community pride and involvement in Aubrey athletics. 

Through consistent training, experienced coaching, and competitive exposure, we aim to elevate our athletes to the next level and establish Aubrey as a growing force in youth golf. 

Included in Registration: Uniform polo and baseball cap or visor. You MUST purchase your own clubs and bring them to practice. 

 *Practices will be 2 days a week, held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings (Subject to change) Practice times: 5p, 6p, 7p, 8p. Younger athletes will go 1st then older kids. The age range for each practice time will depend on the number of athletes registered. 

WE NEED COACHES! FREE registration for Coaches kids. Basic golf knowledge but not comfortable coaching? Jeff Christie will be offering a free coaches clinic!
