Basketball Winter 2027 - Winter 2027

Hello Parents, it is that time of year again for another great season of AAYSA basketball!

GRADES 2nd-6th | Boys and Girls

AAYSA 2026-2027 basketball teams will play in the North interlock Basketball League with Sanger and surrounding towns.

Below is some important information you need to know:

• Registration will open August 13th and will close October13th.
• Practices will begin the week of December 1st.
• Practices will be held at Owens middle school, McNabb middle school, possibly Brockett and Fuller.
• Games will begin January 9th with an end of season tournament planned at the end of February.
• Parents must sign up for to volunteer for game days or pay the opt out volunteer fee to receive a uniform. 
• Competitive and Developmental divisions will apply to 5th and 6th grade boys and girls teams again this season.
• To ensure a fair and equal (as possible) game play, ALL PLAYERS registered for 5th and 6th grade boys and girls, are required attend a skills evaluation before teams are formed. Dates to be announced soon.
• This season no jersey number may contain any single digit larger than 5 (ex. allowable numbers: 00-5, 10-15, 20-25....)

PLEASE NOTE: Coach requests for returning players will be honored on a first come, first serve basis.

Baseball - Spring 2027

WELCOME TO FALL BASEBALL REGISTRATION WITH AAYSA!

A player's "league age" is determined by looking at how old the player will be on or before May 1st, 2027. If you are unsure of what age your child should play, please use the USSSA Baseball Age Calculator.

Spring 2027 SEASON TIMELINE

Teams Formed: 1/31/27

Premier 8u/10u/12u Tryouts: 1/16/2027

First Day of Practices: 2/22/27

Game Schedule release: 3/1/27

Games Start: Week of March 15th

Regular Season Ends: 5/23/27

Post Season Tournament (Single Elimination - 6U and above only): Date of tournament - Targeting Week of May 17th 

Premier Teams

This Spring season, we will be creating 8u/10u/12u premier teams. Tryouts on January 16th, 2027 for the advance players to create these teams. Those that do not qualify for the premier team will be placed on a normal rec team. Each premier team will place 12 kids on 8u and 11 kids on 10u/12u.

 LEAGUE PLAY

Our league consists of two divisions across the following towns. East Division - (Aubrey, Pilot Point, and Tioga), West Division - (Krum, Ponder, and Sanger). Majority of the East games will be played in Pilot Point while West games will be played in Ponder / Sanger / Krum. We might have a few East division games played in the West division, but determined by the number of teams we have once registration is closed and teams are formed. The goal is to have 8 games for each team for the Spring season.

AAYSA Soccer – Welcome to the Spring 2027 Season!

Thank you for registering with AAYSA Soccer! We’re excited to welcome your family to another great season of soccer and look forward to a fun-filled fall of learning, teamwork, and player development.

Final schedules, game times, and team assignments will be shared as soon as they are confirmed with our league partners.

Spring 2027 Divisions & Locations

AAYSA offers co-ed recreational soccer for players of all skill levels, with age-appropriate instruction and opportunities to grow on and off the field.

U4–U10 | Aubrey ISD Administrative Fields

• U4: Introduction to soccer and the fundamentals of the game
• U5/U6: Building basic skills, confidence, and teamwork
• U7/U8: Developing technical skills and a deeper understanding of the game
• U9/U10: Developing tactical awareness, teamwork, and game strategy

 U11–U13 | Frontier Park, Prosper — Playing with PASO

• U11/U12/U13: Larger-field play, advanced skills, and continued player development

Little Dribblers Winter 2027 - Winter 2026

AAYSA Basketball Registration for Pre-K through 1st grade is OPEN!

Hello Parents!

We’re thrilled to announce a special opportunity for our youngest athletes AAYSA’s 2026–2027 Pre-K thru 1st grade Co-Ed Little Dribblers Basketball Division! This is the perfect way to introduce your child to the game in a fun, supportive, and skill-building environment. the league consists of Aubrey, Tioga and Pilot Point. Games will be held in Pilot Point, Tioga or Aubrey on Fridays and Saturdays. 

Here’s what you need to know:

• Registration is open and closes October 15th
• Practices begin the week of December 1st
• Friday evening and Saturday morning games start January 8th and run through February. 
• The league consists of Tioga, Pilot Point and Aubrey. Games will be played in one of these cities. 

This division is all about fun, fundamentals, and encouragement. No prior experience needed just bring your energy and excitement!
