This registration session will allow you to complete contact information and submit payment.  To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account information available.  Following the completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account from Aubrey Area Youth Sports Association

DETAILS FOR 2023 SEASON:

• Regular registration will be open from April 1st to May 31st. Requests for late registration will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• 1st/2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade: Full Contact Tackle Football
• All AAYSA teams are capped at 22 players with any additional players placed on a waitlist. Players on the waitlist will be notified if they are being activated to a roster. 
  
• Registration Cost: $180 (Includes player fees,  jersey, pants, and socks)
• Refunds will be processed until June 1st minus a $25 admin fee.  No refund will be processed after June 1st
• All practices will be held at the Aubrey ISD Admin Building football field (415 Tisdell Ln, Aubrey, TX 76227)
• All games are held on Saturdays (dates, times, and locations are posted late August)

• July 31st: First day of helmet only conditioning/practice (No contact activities or equipment)
• August 14th: First day of full pad practice

• August 26th: AAYSA Make-Up Weigh-In @ Whitesboro HS (Time TBD)
• September 9th: First games of regular season
• October 28th: Last games of regular season
• November 4th: First round of playoffs begins (location TBD)
• November 11th: Semifinals (location TBD)
• November 18:  NTYF Super Bowl (location TBD)

Question:  What are the typical uniform/equipment related costs for a TACKLE participant?

Answer:  The registration fee covers each AAYSA tackle players game uniform, pants, socks, and helmet stickers.  All other items such as practice jersey, cleats, mouthpieces, helmets, shoulder pads, padded shirts, padded girdles, or other essential items to participate in the AAYSA tackle program would be on each player to purchase.  These costs could vary depending on brands and sizes.  Typical first year costs can be $300-$500.  Returning AAYSA tackle players can continue to wear their existing equipment and uniform and advance in size as needed.

Question:  What steps should I take if I am interested in coaching?

Answer:  All coaches require board approval to serve as a coach and must complete a background check as well as a USA Football Youth Coach Certification.
