AAYSA is now a member of the
National Association of Youth Sports (NAYS) and will use their training programs for administrators, commissioners and coaches. AAYSA now requires volunteers in these positions to become a member of NAYS/
NYSCA (National Youth Sports Coaches Association). The
Parent's Association of Youth Sports (PAYS) helps enables parents to help their children have truly rewarding experiences is also available to those interested.
These educational programs offers a simple, effective way to make parents aware of their roles and responsibilities as they volunteer and ways they can make the youth sports experience more enjoyable and positive. For more information, please visit www.nays.org.

AAYSA Volunteers:
If you are interested in volunteering as a board member, a commissioner or coach for a specific sport, please attend the next monthly meeting (first Monday of each month). Complete a Volunteer Application & Agreement and forward to AAYSA either by mail, or in person at any meeting or sign up.
Returning and new coaches who attend meetings regularly will be given first consideration for selection of a coaching position. All coaches must be in good standing with the association with no outstanding fees due, any previous equipment returned, no written complaints filed against them and pass a background check.
