James Wood AutoPark Kicks off with the Aubrey Youth Football

James Wood Autopark sponsors Aubrey Youth Football and helps raise thousands of dollars with a vehicle giveaway

Aubrey (10/31/2010)James Wood Autopark of Denton is partnering with Aubrey Youth Football to provide the league’s players and coaches with equipment, a monetary donation, and a chance to raise up to $10,000!

In support of Aubrey’s youth, James Wood has provided the league with football kits filled with equipment bags, 5-gallon water coolers, dry erase coaches’ clipboards, and t-shirts.

Offering additional support to the community, Aubrey kids currently have the opportunity to raise as much as $10,000 through a fundraising opportunity where one lucky recipient in the South Central Region of the country will win a new 2011 GMC Terrain (MSRP not to exceed $30,140). James Wood Autopark and other Dallas-area Buick-GMC dealerships in the South Central Region are donating the vehicle to the participating leagues. One second prize winner will be selected from the North Texas area to win a home entertainment package consisting of a flat-screen television and Blu-Ray player. (Approximate Retail Value: $1,000 each). One-hundred percent of the proceeds go directly to Aubrey Youth Football, and they can use the funds in any way they choose.  Some of the leagues have reported they plan to grant scholarships to families who cannot afford to enroll their children in the league, while others have said they will use the funds to improve fields and equipment.

“Buick-GMC and youth football. It’s a great combination,” says Will Lewis GMC Sales Manager at James Wood. “We are proud to be able to help the kids in our community by donating equipment and giving them the opportunity to raise much needed funds for their league. We are excited to be part of the effort this year, and have anticipated a fun-filled season of football.”

To purchase a chance to win the new 2011 GMC Terrain, please contact any of the Aubrey Youth Football players or Colleen Dow at 940-365-1088, or see ticket booth at each youth football game.    ALL money raised from these ticket sales stays within the Aubrey Youth Football Program!

This is a good link for looking up information about stadiums in Texas.

www.texasbob.com/stadium

Once you are on the websites home page on the right side there is a section titled Public School Index. Select the correct section of the alphabet, locate the school, and click on the stadium name. It will then list the address and also have a link for driving directions to their stadium.
